Tragedy at Indian political event as 11 people die from heatstroke

At a political event in Mumbai, India, attended by hundreds of thousands of people and the Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah, at least eleven people died of heatstroke due to temperatures reaching 38 degrees Celsius.

Around fifty people were hospitalized, and eleven of them died. India experiences heatwaves between March and May, according to the national weather agency.
